Can you amend a corporate tax return form 1120s for section 179 depreciation. Thank you.

Under a recent change, for any taxable year after 2002 and before 2008, a taxpayer can make or revoke an election under Section 179 on an amended return filed within the time for filing an amended return (generally within three years of the due date of the original return). See Reg. 1.179-5. I do not see anything which indicates that this would not apply to an S corporation return or partnership return.
