Was there ever a serious doubt? Politicians will be politicians.

| I know that IRS says that it will post changes to the 12 forms affected by the legislative changes within 3 days of the bill being signed into law, but isn't there a chance that the software companies are also going to have to make a whole bunch of changes to tax prep software as well?

| The code would be the same lines as 2006 software. In our terms, this is merely reversing a journal entry.

| I'd say there's more than "a chance". As one who is looking for tax software right now to start my tax practice at the start of this coming tax season, I'm very concerned about the tax software vendors. As a former "software guy" I know how tough it can be to change large and complex software products. I'm asking all the software vendor reps about their company's timetable to implement changes due to last minute legislation.
