| I'm working on a defined contribution 401K audit and have two interesting issues. First, the plan is a single-employer plan for 2006 but was changed to a multiemployer plan in order to hand off the administration and reduce plan costs during January 2007. I've looked in PPC guidance and on the web but cannot find out if this is a plan termination of the single employer plan (to be disclosed in sub event footnote) or otherwise. Also, how do you clear up a deemed distributed loan for a terminated employee as it is my understanding that the DDL remains on the books as a loan? When can such a DDL endanger the plan qualification? Thanks in advance for your help! | |
