| I believe this is a new one-day record for me. I received THIRTY...count 'em 30 notices for one client today. They were all CP 523, Notice of Intent to Levy, Defaulted Installment Agreement. From what I can find, these 30 Presorted First Class Letters, which weigh 1.5 ounces each cost 46.0 cents to mail (the lowest rate for a minimum of 150 barcoded pieces to the same 5 digit area). Add in the 3 pages of the 523 itself, the 12 page Publication 594, the inside and outside envelopes as well as the third party contact notice and the minimum for the mailer is 25 cents. Let's just say about 71 cents total for each letter. Maybe a little more...maybe a little less, but who cares; it's your money.
Oh and remember this....the client received all 30 Notices as well and his were all Certified Mail

| wow nice! I wonder how full the taxpayer's mailbox was. Speaking of this, is there a way to turn off the copy of notice to POA? I have plenty clients that receive balance due notices that I have POA and some I don't represent anymore. I would like to get rid of my POA. | |

| How many periods did the installment agreement cover? I am trying to reason why, and hope all thirty did not cover the same period!!!!!
I love the ones where both spouses receive the same notices at the same address.

| All for different 941 and 940 periods. Shows you just how stupid the Service is. Couldn't these morons figure out how to put them all on one notice? Nope. Anyone in this business for any length of time will tell you this is de rigueur for this organization. | |
