Greetings everyone. I just started a home business and have it structured as an LLC. The IRS sent me 2 EIN #s, one under the company name and my name. Currently, I am the only member of this LLC and have not generated income as of yet. Does this mean I have to file 2 941 forms or just the one under the company name? Any help would be much appreciated.

If you are a SMLLC, why are you filing 941's? Did you elect to be taxed as an S Corp? Do you have employees?

If you don't have employees, fill 941 with all zeros, On page 2 of the form, you can indicate that you won't need file it i the future.

IRS does not know if you have employees or not but since you have EIN, they assumed so.
