I think I need a life preserver. I've been swimming around irs.gov for the documentation requirements when e-filing 1120/1120S. The rules/tips/guidance are kind of hodgepodge over there. So, two questions.

First, besides the guidelines given here (http://www.irs.gov/efile/article/0,,id=103789,00.html) are there any other rules I should look at for, regarding entities required to e-file, and those that are not?

Second, when obtaining a client signature for the e-filed return, does the signature have to be an original, or can it be faxed (a la, in Las Vegas, facsimiles are treated as originals for signature purposes)?

Thanks
