| I am done with my first 1065 return.
I want to e-file it. Should I be okay if I have an EFIN or do I need something else? Also, do you send each partner the 1065 or just the K-1? Please advise. Is there anything else that I should be looking for here. Thanks, Bj

| Did you request to efile Form 1065 when you sent in your application? If not, you can't efile 1065s.
The 1065 instructions will tell you what you need to provide to the partners.

| The tax matters partner signs the e-file auth., and gets the 1065 copy (that you signed) along with the K-1s, and distributes the K-1s to the partners. The preparer usually doesn't distribute K-1s. | |

| Provide only copies of the K-1s to the partners and a copy of the complete return to the partnership. | |
