I have a farmer who spent 18000 on a pond for his farm....what can I do with this.

Alot of things; swimming, fishing.... Seriously though, depends on if it was a necessary part of his business. What is it for? Irrigation, livestock etc.

What does taxpayer use the pond for? Perhaps the cost can be claimed as Sec. 175 soil and water conservation extenditures.
